A Little Bit of Magic in the woods

Receiving a Best of Weddings award from the The Knot after just under two years in business is such an honor. This award is based on reviews on The Knot by my clients, their families and friends. While so many of these lovely comments talked about my designs and unique approach, I know that I couldn’t do it without the amazing work of so many others—including the inspiration from my clients, the hard work of my team, and all the other elements delivered by the great vendors I get to work with throughout the Hudson Valley, Upstate and NYC regions. To continue our award celebration, here’s another 2018 highlight.

“Shuheng was an absolute pleasure to work with and I'm so thrilled I decided to go with her as my florist for my wedding. She met and exceeded all my expectations. She took the time to walk me through all the options based on my likes and dislikes. She even helped preview my flower crown, bouquet and centerpiece/garlands - that was such a HUGE help as I was able to get a visual and make adjustments as necessary so come the day of the wedding, I was absolutely floored with the arrangements she made. From the ceremony arbor to the reception details, Shuheng's arrangements added just the right amount of floral touch I was looking for. Her passion and talent is so evident in her work and I could not recommend her enough!”

Collaboration is a big part of my design. Sharing examples and even creating samples of work allows my clients to envision the look on their wedding day while providing me insight into their ideal design. I love the challenge of working so closely with someone on these designs, yet still finding ways to surprise and delight them on their special day. Congrats Lauren and Craig!
